Full Name: Severus Priamos Snape. Use the middle name and be hexed into next Thursday.
Nicknames: None that you may call me.
Gender: Male, most decidedly.
Orientation: I do not believe that is any of your business, you daft cow. (He's truly of "questionable" orientation, and is not adverse to trysts with members of either gender. The individuals must, however, be human. He is not asexual, as many rumours would say.)
Birthdate: 19th October 1960
Blood: Pureblooded, quite proudly.
Position: Professor of Potions and Head of Slytherin House. All that to say that I must wrangle blithering idiots -- adult and infantile alike -- all day.
Affiliation: It depends who you ask, and who you truly believe. (Current Order of the Phoenix member; former Deatheater. His true motivations and allegiances are unclear, however.)
Wand: Cherry wood, 13 inches, rigid, dragon's heartstring core
Special Abilities: Superb at anything I try. My renowned status as potions master is all you need concern yourself with. (Don't forget the whole superb occlumens deal, as well.)

Family: Father Priamos, mother Libitina. Both deceased. No children, thank Merlin. I deal with enough of those at Hogwarts.
Relationships: No. I refuse to answer this. (Severus has no one in his life at this moment. He likely doesn't even have friends, save Albus Dumbledore, who isn't really a friend by choice. He has had few romantic relationships, and is wary of letting others get to know him because of his dark past and all.)
Place Of Residence: Private chambers in the dungeons at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You've no need to know where my private residence is.
History: Severus Snape grew up in a privileged home as the heir to the Snape family estate. He, however, wasn't liked much by either of his parents, so he took to studying potions and the Dark Arts instead. He rose to be one of the top students during his years at Hogwarts, which were marred by the meddling of those pesky Marauders who always tried to kill him. Immediately after finishing his studies at Hogwarts, he was taken under the wing of long-time 'friend' Lucius Malfoy, who ended up convincing Severus that he was better off without the lousy family and the lousy estate, and that wouldn't he much rather join a revolution against the wizarding world as a whole? Seveus, who'd had enough of his family, and who sort of agreed with the whole purebloods-are-better-than-you sentiment that the Dark Lord espoused, signed himself right up for an extended tour with the ultimate evil. Somewhere between here and there he realised that Voldemort WAS evil, and wouldn't he be much better off working subversively against the evil thing? So Severus gathered up his strength or morals or druthers or something like that, and hauled off to Dumbledore, repenting for his misdeeds against the One True Way. Dumbledore smiled sweetly, offered Severus some sweets, and then gave him a job as potions professor at Hogwarts, as well as instating him as occasional spy for the Order. Severus sits, to this day, as Potions professor, griping and complaining about his horrid job, and generally angering and frightening students everywhere.
